Hi 👋🏼

I was born on December 25th, 1983. A Christmas baby and yes I am a Millennial 😂
I have always loved all things books. Each page takes you on a different journey, brilliant! I have always wanted to be a part of writing something that impacts a person in a positive way. Many don’t know that I have not only been writing stories growing up but also poems, songs, blogs, and even some scripts!

Two very community-led positions in one of Canada’s largest library systems shaped me to want to help customers and audiences of ages and stages. It has always brought me great joy to bring a smile to ones face, enhance their creativity and experience them feeling empowered. 

My education in the Social Service field also has shaped me to see the world in a variety of ways.  Mix all that together plus my lived experiences growing up as a bullied child, joy as a mother of one, a pet mommy of 2 and my vibrant cultural background as a born and raised Torontonian with a Vincentian  and Guyanese heritage results in the backbone of my writing inspiration. 

 I stand on the quote: “Be the change you wish to see in the world”. And I hope the resources I create and books I write will help others embrace their uniqueness, be kind to others and foster joy within oneself.
